SQL Access General Availability (September 2024)
As of Q3 2024, SQL Access is generally available. This feature enables users to query and analyze data using familiar SQL tools and clients, eliminating the need to learn GraphQL semantics. Users can leverage their preferred BI tools and SQL clients to derive insights from their data.

Analytical Data Sharing Preview (October 2024)
October 2024 saw the preview release of Analytical Data Sharing, enabling secure, self-service data sharing across analytical data platforms using Apache Iceberg. This feature enables data providers and operating companies to distribute analytical data (e.g. tables, data products) to partners, regardless of their chosen data platform.
Key Capabilities
- Platform Interoperability: Share live data across Snowflake, Cloudera CDP (including on-premises), and Vendia-managed Iceberg tables (AWS S3) via Delta Sharing.
- Data Monetization & Bespoke Products: Distribute trial or production-ready data and create custom data products with tenant-specific entitlements.
- Privacy & Security: Implement column-based masking and row-level filtering for enhanced data privacy.
- Incremental Updates: Refresh source data at spe/ul>cified intervals (hourly, daily, weekly).
